I have a Rem 700 BDL in .17Rem that has a factory varmint weight S/S barrel. The rifle is a pre bolt lock, blue reciever. The barrel has all the right factory markings, and is not a custom shop model. I have verified the S/N with Remington. It's been shot very little, and I (not a pro here) would call it about 98% or better. I am trying to find out what a reasonable asking price would be. It will be for sale soon. "take off" barrels run about $50 give or take... They can actually be great bargains for the right guy. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Obviously my post was not clear. The rifle is complete, and it is the complete rifle that I am seeking info on. The barrel is not, and will never be available as a take off. Thanks David 'make a rancher grin, kill a coyote" | |||

Wood stocked 700BDL-V in 17Rem? $475-$525 If it has a scope figuire the scope adds 50% of the scope's retail value, but only IF it is a halfway decent scope. Of course if Cabela's was selling this rifle used they'd jack the price up by another $125, but I'm convinced that whoever prices used rifles at Cabela's is trying to support a drug habit.
