Most vendors are out of .260 brass until February, and I can't wait that long to break in my new .260. Is there anything I need to do besides running 7mm 08 or .243 brass through the .260 FL die and trimming to get .260 brass?

If the 270 won't do it the .338 will, if the 338 won't I can't afford the hunt!

I can send you a few virgin cases if you want....does 30 sound ok?

I need to run off to a town board meeting....(I'm on the board) but will be back in a few hours.

PM me if you want me to send a few.

However if you have the 7-08 brass now....just run it through the .260 die.....and go!

Necking down one step like that is about as easy as it gets. There shouldn't be any problem with neck thickness or case length.

Necking .243 UP will work too, but IMHO, necking up never produces the same quality of necks going down does.

Best deal would be to take Vapo up on his kind offer.

WW 7/08 is a preferred brass to run thru a 260 die for MANY a hardcore 260 fans, more capacity, and better accuracy, and more primer pocket life from reports.

Nosler (made by Norma) and Norma brand brass is an option, albeit expensive. It is VERY good stuff FWIW.
