Hello SuperMagnum, Would you accept one for the Berger 52gr. HP? It's pushed along by IMR4064 34.1grs. and groups at .24" (5 at 100yds.). It produces a velocity of 3500fps, and uses a F210M primer. The only loading I have for a 55gr. bullet is the Nosler 55gr. Bal. Tip in front of IMR4064 35.2grs. This also has a velocity of 3500fps., F210M primers and groups at .26". Hope this helps. Best wishes. Cal - Montreal Cal Sibley

I know this is an ancient thread but its always nice to have data in the archives. 26" barrel Berger 55 FBHP match, *coated* IMR4895 mid node was 35.0gr high node was 36.5gr **near max load in my rifle** Don't have velocity numbers on this exact one but judging by others the 35.0 will be~3600 and the 36.5gr will be in the 3750-3800 range. For uncoated bullets back off at least .6gr

Everyone has their pet load and here's a load that has worked very well in a number of rifles. 35.5gr. of IMR 4895, CCI primer in about any case and while it may not be a Berger, the Excellent 55 gr. Sierra flat base spitzer(Sierra # 1360) has shot 1/4 minute groups or close to it in several rifles over the years. And should work with your Bergers as well. As a side note, i'm using the above mentioned bullet in a 22/250AI every fall on crop damage deer and it gets the job done extremely well, most never take a step. And one other thing, this "Varmint" bullet will lazer a 1/2" thick truck spring leaf if that matters to you. It makes gutting a deer much easier as the lungs run out in liquid form. Playing with 22.250 loads lately for the 4 of them I own, I was surprised but a random picked load of 33 grains of RL 15, and several different randomly picked 55 grain bullets, turned in very very tight groups, even in ratio to some other good loads in ALL of these rifles.... all the other loads I tested, had favorites in various rifles... but 33 grains of RL 15 was like by all 4 rifles with a wide variety of bullets... So I'd say it is a keeper.. not top velocity, only about 3400 fps.... but decide what is the most important.. I take accuracy over velocity any day... cheers seafire

I'm shooting a rem 700 VSSF 22-250 with nosler 55 bal tips and cci br primers and 37.5 grns of rel 15 at 3866 fps it's hot but no pressure signs in my gun it shoots about a 1/4 inch at 100 but rel15 seems to work great in this gun but be careful it may be too hot for yours work up from 35 grns and check for pressure signs
