Strike one for an old guy. I am not a marksman. Neither is my kid, but he has the advantage of youthful eyes and steady reflex. He brought out his deadly accurate Savage bull barrel .17 HMR with the fancy thumbhole stock, and we shot some paper. I know it was because there was just enough breeze to bother those tiny little buggers he tosses, but me and my .22-250 held our own. That ain't never happened before. Now, just give me that marvelous stock of his.....
