Does anyone have any experience with the 20 Comet? Sounds pretty interesting with a 55 grainer at around 3800 fps.

Thanks and God Bless, Louis

never heard of it, but you can do that with a swift and not need to pay out all the extra $$ for custom stuff

DocEd, It is based on a 20BR case blown out .075

Butch, sure you can do that with alot of calibers but I haven't never heard of anyone shooting 1000yd competition with a swift. Probably been done though.

Sounds kinda like a 20 Dasher, or 20 BRX.

Here's a pic of my 20 BR. It shoots the Berger 50LTB at 3950 fps.

Not correst. Tim Gardner, owner of Douglas Barrels, created the 20 Comet.

Try this link, it's a PDF download of the article about the 20 Comet

A 55gr .204 bullet has a much higher BC than a 55gr .224 bullet.

The 55gr .204 @ the same Mv will blow away the same weight .224 bullet for flat trajectory & resistance to wind drift.
