Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

My concern is that if I mix them will they clash and give an uncoordinated appearance? I don't find any mention of this in Emily Post. I'd hate to be in violation of what the etiquette and fashion Gods dictate. I also think the nickel cases look better in stainless guns, but I don't have a stainless one. Should I buy a stainless and use the nickel cases in it only?
Use the nickle cases for blackpowder loads in your .222. |

| Carpetman. The solution is quite simple. In light of the 22 offerings out there, shooting the 222 makes you one of two things. #1 a knuckle draging troglodite, #2 An enlightened purist. #1 brass, #2 nickle. Problem solved. By the way, it's still Christmas in Seattle, merry Christmas.

| Hell, if I could get 222 brass for a nickel a case I'd buy all they had and keep all my other expensive brass cases for special occasions like weddings and new years, and such. |

| I have the same problem. Here are the ettiquete guidelines that have kept me out of trouble:
1. Don't shoot mixed brass in mixed company.
2. Shoot mixed brass only when you are socially comfortable wearing only unwashed striped boxer shorts and a tank undershirt with cigarette burn holes in it for the fourth day in a row. |
