Sweet!!
A few years ago I purchased a model 70 225 winchester with a heavy barrel. I wanted one for years.
The gun arrived but needed the rear of the stock bedded. I just had the work completed and mounted a scope.
Today I shot it for the first time.
I believe this rifle will give results!!

I am one gun away from being happy

Had one just like it 20 years ago, had a 10 power Weaver on it. That thing would group about anything real well. Have kicked myself for years for trading it off. Hated that 1100 Rem.

I bought a M-70 barreled action in 1964 sporter weight barrel in .225.

Damn thing was scary accurate......I shot it out on prairie dogs and rebarreled it to 22-250....it wasn't the same. It was never right again. I replaced the original barrel and traded it off.
