Just saw that they are listing this as an available caliber. Here comes Bob making his big come back, well probably not but I still think its cool.

I bought a Ruger 77 last October in 257 Bob. That was before I know the Hawkeye was going to be chambered in the Bob. It sure is accurate, and a good looking rifle too.
I see lots of guys on the different Forums buying Bob's, which is good!!! Big Grin
I haven't seen a Hawkeye, as they aren't available up here in the swamp yet.

I have never owned a Ruger center fire bolt action but currently have 3 257's. My favorite rifle is a 257, you will be very happy with it.

I have 2 Roberts and an improved roberts too.
I have really enjoy the round in all the rifles I have played with.
One of my Roberts is a Ruger RL. Fine rifle. I saw a hawkeye chamberd for the Roberts at the Sportsman wharebhouse in vancouver wa. Would love to buy it ut 3 Roberts are enough.
