Well this rifle was sent to me as a replacement for an American rifle in 7-08 that had some chamber issues. I asked them if they could send the replacement in 6.5 Creedmoor and they said yes but it would be in the Predator Model, I gladly said yes. I am glad they sent it. This was my first time out with it but before this I had relieved the almost usual contact these rifles have at the forend. Both are three shot groups off the bench at 100 yds. I think this one is a keeper. My Ruger American in 308 Win doesn't shoot near this good, it's decent for an off the shelf hunting rifle though.

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

I like to load mine about .013 off the lands and run 41.5-42gr H4350 or IMR 4451 with 140A-Max. 123 Lapua S bullets behind 43.7gr. H4350 shoots very well. You are going to love your new Creedmoor.

I'll use it on Deer (at least I'll try) and some porkers if I can find them.

Mine are loaded close to the lands, not sure how far off though. I held off getting a Creedmoor for quite a while but then got into this one on a deal with Ruger and really like it. My two favorite calibers are 7mm and 6.5, I have several different versions of each caliber. My favorite 6.5 so far is the 6.5 Grendel but the Creedmoor is coming up fast. Favorite 7mm is the 7-08 followed by the 7mm TCU. I had a bolt action in 7mm TCU several years ago that was a veritable tack driver.

A friend of mine has a couple of custom bolt guns in 7mm TCU. They are super accurate, fun to shoot, and very capable on deer at reasonable ranges. It's a shame Hornady discontinued the soft jacket 7mm silhouette bullets.

FISH!!

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
