I just purchased a LVSF in .204 R and equipped it with a VariXII 6X18. Just curious who else has this rifle and how it performs for you? What factory loads do yours favor? Thanks.

Modded LVSF My wife's LVSF is now in a HS Precision stock, and has been converted to a BDL style magazine. Rifle is fitted with Leupold QRW bases, and a Leupold Mk 4 6.5-20*50 scope. We only ever shot Hornady factory ammo with it (when in the original stock). Both the 32 and 40 gr loads shot roughly 1 moa. But it shines with handloads. Using the 39 gr Sierra, it shoots under .5 moa, and has been a wonderful purchase. It's shot lots of foxes and rabbits.

I sold a CZ 527 in .204, which was a tack driver. Regretted it and purchased the Rem 700. I don't expect it to shoot as well, but hope it does

I have one. Up to last night the Hornady 40 gr V-Max factory ammo was out shooting my hand loads using the 40 gr V-Max. I moved on to the 40 gr Nosler Btips and was getting the same results until I tried what very little varget I had left. Both groups are very tight. Once my powder shipment arrives, I'll explore some more with that bullet and Varget. I just recieved one box each of Berger 35 gr and 40 gr. I do some loading with those while I wait for the varget. The trigger has been adjusted on my LVSF but I still feel some creep. At this point I can say that this rifle is NOT one of my most accurate rifles. I'll be more than happy if I get an accurate fast load though because I bought it as my Walk Around yote gun. It will pay for itself in pelts if I have a year like last year. ------------------------------- Too many people........

Not a LVSF per-se, but recently got a NIB used ADL in 204 ruger -- J-lock and all. Smmooootttthhhh barrel -- cleans up in a hurry. This weekend, shooting at a 225 yd gong, 40g hornaday factory loads. 1st 3 shots went into under a penny ctc. Lucky fluke shot -- probably, but I was consistently shooting well under MOA at 100 yards after getting a not-shot-loose scope on it. Definately recommend it as a 'Try this one out' Best regards John
