Interestingly enough I have a 264 WinMag, 7mm Rem. Mag and right in between the 270 Apex which is same case but at .270. I wish I could give you some real details, but they are all out of commission right now. The 264 looks to have a snug throat, so am waiting for feedback from gunsmith on whether to neck turn or not, the 7mm is on an argentine (and if it wasn't Jeffe I would consider talking about the trade) and I want to have it hardness tested before shooting again, and the 270 Apex doesn't have a scope and I can't afford one.

BUT, I can help with this, since you are so close to me if you decide to go with the necked to 270 route I can let you have some fired cases and the dies to go off of if needed, and although RCBS no longer has a record when I call them of these dies they made them so should be able to do again. the 150g. bullets must have a killer ballistic coefficient, I just haven't shot more than 5 rounds out of it to make sure it would fireform them all right. I was going to sell my 264 at one point but nobody wanted it so now am going to make it shoot, need to try another scope on it though because it seems to be not grouping well. hmmm...

sorry to blabber.
