Never herd of it. Only 0,012 difference and it would make it illeagal for dg in some african countrys.

I have not heard about anyone doing it either and I also don't see much of a point doing it unless you just want something different. A 9.3-375Ruger would be so similar to a 375Ruger that you would not gain anything by doing it. Better to either have a 9.3x62/64 or a 375Ruger in my opinion.

It would certainly be an acceptable wildcat with great performance and better balistically than the 9.3x64. components probably/maybe easier to come by these days. I doubt that it would be popular as the improvement may or may not be justifiable..But thats the way of the wildcater, so do it if you have the desire. I have a 375x62 that I'm playing with and getting great balistics but at what cost I am not sure because I do not have the balistic hardware to pressure test and the home boy means that we have used for years is certainly less than accurate, but I have managed to get by for many years, but as I go I keep cutting back on my loads that seemed OK, ???????? The 375 Ruger is far more practical and somewhat more capable for DG... Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

I think your 375x62 is a much better practical choise than a 9.3.375Ruger because it lets you use .375 bullets that many countries have as their minimum for DG and at the same time you can use it in a standard Mauser long action

A 9.3 Sisk gets a 286gr Nosler Partition to 2,800 fps...about the level of a 375 Wby Mag. Easy to neck up 8mm Rem brass, shoulder stays the same. I have Charlie's first 9.3 Sisk available for $1,995 + $25 shipping if interested.

I would really like to hear more about this one! Bullet weights, speed, barrel specs?

375 Ruger 9.3X64 Pick one or the other. Any combination of the two would be less desirable than either of the originals. ______________________________ "Truth is the daughter of time." Francis Bacon

\ Why?? If you reload and want to do your thing why would the round be less desirable?? It no different than any other of the 1000s of redundant wildcats out there! Jim I tend to use more than enough gun

Chiefen, I had this really nice 9x57 full rib barreled on a small ring mauser, nice claw mounts, butterknife bolt handle and a trashed stock and the barrel was shot out..I patched up the stock and it looks nice now. glassed it. I wanted to rebore to 9.3x62 and that was not doable, so I opted for a 9.5 or .375 bore and after considering the 338 case, the 06 case, and several others I opted for the 9.3x62 case as it held an extra round in the magazine and my idea was it would take a bit more powder and with the large cross section less pressure sooo. I can get some very good velocitys with all bullets, and walk right on the heels of the 375 factory balistics and about 100 FPS behind max handloads of the .375. I get a bit more velocity than the Scoville or Hawks ( I think they were designed for Mod 95 Win. however??) If you would like my loading data then give me an email and I'll send you some more information. It makes a light rifle, recoil is moderate with my mild loads of a 300 gr. bullet at 2350 to 2400 FPS, a 232 gr. GS Customs at 2730 FPS last chronograph session, and shoots as flat as a 180 30-06 and will go thru and elk at almost any angle. That GS Customs HP monolithic is deadlsy on anything. I tried the 350 gr. Woodleighs, but velocity was 2150-2200 fps or so as I recall, and thats fine but I would have prefered 2300 FPS. It shoots all bullet weights pretty darn good..its a 1 to 2 inch rifle at 100 yards depending on loads. cases have lasted 9 loadings so far.
