For whoever else gives a toot, I think shooting encompasses more than hunting although it is my primary pleasure as relates to guns. I really don't believe there is a lot of difference between the .338 and .358 bore as applies to the average shooting situation, and they will each drop anything on earth in capable hands. Of that I have not the slightest doubt. I say this without any rancor at all, but think there is some form of cosmic syrup disrupting our communication here. I'm going to walk away from this one because I'm chatting with some of you that either do not understand what I'm saying(likely my fault), or refuse to stop and consider the essence of what I have said(your choice).
