I have a reamer for one and was thinking of rechambering a 6BR barrel for it. Unfortunately it's a 1 in 14 twist but I would bet 55's to 75's or 80's would sizzle. Anybody have any info good or bad on this caliber?

Thanks
Nathan

80's will hardly be stable with a 1-14 better stick with 55-75 grn bullets. It would be a great caliber with the right twist!!!

Yeah I figured 80's might be streching it but if it shoots good with the lighter bullets I might order another 8 twist barrel to shoot the VLD's. I'm guessing it should be between the 6-284 and the 6mm Mach IV. That would pretty much cover the 6mm range for me as I have a 6BR and two 6mm's with 8 twist barrels now.
