What would be a good rate of twist in a 6mm-284 for 65 - 85 grain bullets? I thinking 1 in 12. Any ideas? | ||

twist rate is link too bullet lenght and not bullet weight , even with VLD in 88 gr or Lapua 90 gr are longer more you increase velocity more you increase bullet revolution so more you get your bullet stabilized if 1 in 12 work in regular 6 mm as 244 REM normaly at full velocity 1 in 13 or 1 in 14 can work depend if your barrel maker can do that most commun pith are 1 in 12 or 1 in 14 a nice wildcat is 6 Baby Shedanne good shooting DAN TEC | |||
