Cockroaches are a "gimmie" Dead right there, but a solid mouse kill still requires shot placement.

I just got through building a 14 Walker [14/221] and it is a hoot. Had to make my cleaning rod etc. Bullets hard to come by and NOT cheap. But then nothing is nowadays. Building a 14/Ack Hornet now on an old beater XP action. SS with Pacnor BBL. Fun to shoot and if you hit a tweety-target? Oh BOY! Samo for the little furry things too. All I`m doing now is fireforming and load developement but so far?? Lots of fun.
Aloha, Mark

SWD,
I have an article on a 14 Hornet wildcat (I think) published in an Australian magazine a few years back. I can scan and email if required ... if I can find the bugger.
Cheers...

Bohica, what kind of performance are you getting out of the Walker? Con, if you can find that article that would be great. I'd love to read up on it.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas, Shawn

SWD,
Drop me a PM with your email address ... I finally found the article, and will try scanning it over the next week or so. It's on the 14 Walker Hornet built on a ZKW465 Brno action ... load data is limited but 3790fps with a 17gr and 4395fps with a 11gr projectile. Jeez ... the 17 is fiddly enough Big Grin
Cheers...
