This is a great idea and the calibers mentioned are all good. I have an orig. 336 .219 and love it. Use the flat nose bullets marketed for the 218 Bee or load 2 shot (1 chamber and 1 mag). The 25-35 AI would give more versatility. I use a Win 94 in vanilla 25-35. The 22 HP is not a ggod choice. Bullet choie is limited as are sources of .228 barrels. I have a Savage 99 in this and love it, but I stocked up on bullets. There is a good smith named Brockman's in Gooding, ID that specializes in the 336 and levers. I would go with either the 219 or 25-35 both in an improved version. My .02
