I don't recall if clymers website has dimensions for both reamers, but it would be worth checking. There are minor differences between the two rounds, ie a few thousands difference in diameter in the shoulder, neck length, shoulder angle? In practicle terms, performance will be identicle, but they don't share exactly the same chamber specs.

Dimensionally, they're very close.....the most significant difference is case length: .30-338 = 2.50", .308 Norma = 2.56". Lee Martin www.singleactions.com

these are essentially the same caliber, like the 416 hoffman and the 416 rem... both are formed from an "unimproved" 338 win mag, and are just MINOR diffs in shoulder and neck. matchs the 300 win, more or less see, the 30-338 was a wildcat, that had/has several dimentions... the 308 norma was a standarized version, that norma lent/leased/sold reamers to the trade, to make their's the preferred version... which is why you'll find consistency in the 308 normas, and some differences in any 30-338 jeffe

Caution 308 Norma is longer than 30.338 BUT body lenght of the 308 Norma is longer too you can shoot 30.338 in 308 Norma chamber but you get a fireforming shoulder and it moove another BIG diffrence between 30.338 Win and 308 Norma is the throat 30.338 have aregular SAAMI throat not very deep but 308 Norma have a deep CIP specs throat that not the best for accuracy good shooting DAN TEC
