Just looking at the drawing makes me shudder with excitement. Much as I appreciate the idea of the Mbogo, this thing makes the 460 Wby look like a 300 Win Mag.
Make it 12# and shoot a 500g Swift at 3k for me, would ya?

having bene there with the mbogo, I can honestly tell you there is NO improvement possible in the .475 bullet space. You get 3 down, one up, 2500 FPS with barnes XLC bullets, and it basically requires a meter of bone to stop one!!

and, best of all, you can have one made up for you in the next 3 months, for the cost of JUST the expected price of the 505 gibbs CZ....

650 - action
175 - dies
500 - pacnor to do all the metalwork and bluing (needs a recoil lug)
150 - sights (can go WAY up or WAY down)
65 - new pad

$1540.....

if you take the pad out of that ( i wouldnt) it's under 1500!!!

and, even if you went 350 on a new stock, you are just AT the base price of the gibbs....


Nah, on a gibbs cz, what I would say to you it to work up to a 49,000 cup gibbs load, with a 525 gr bullet.... or over 2500FPS
