I have just finished building my 250 Ackley.
I have fired only about 16 rounds through it, fire forming factory rem. loads. Every thing seems to be working fine and my last three shots went into about an inch. [Big Grin]
Anyway I would like some load data for:

Barnes 100grn XLCs
Speer 100grn hot-cor
Nosler 100grn BTs

using

H414
RL19
W760

These are the powders and bullets that I have right now. But I'm also very interested in any of ya'lls favorites.
By the way the rifle is a M700 in a HI-Tec stock (the 17oz one) and has a Pac-Nor "light weight" contour barrel. It weighs 7lbs even. Now I know that doesn't set any records but that is also with a sling, 3x9x40 vxII, a stock full of Accra- glass and a 1" decelerator pad. Don't ask about the recoil pad it was a brain fart kind of thing. I will try to post some pictures, if ya'll want to see another black rifle, [Razz] as soon as I spray the stock with some paint or bed liner. O no more weight.
Thanks for any help.

Shawn,
I've had one. It was a Remington Model 7 which I had rebarreled...used to be a .308. One of my best loads was a 100 gr Speer SP over 42 grs of H414 and a WLRM primer. From a 21" barrel, velocity averaged 2,922 fp, ES was 36 and it clustered three shot groups an average of 0.788". I have lots of other loads, but nothing with W760 or Rel 19.

Many thanks for the e-mail. I will try some of these loads tomorrow. If I come across any thing worth while I'll be sure and pass it along.
Thanks again
Shawn
P.S. ya'll keep 'em come'n.
