Looking for loads for my 416 Taylor.
Looking for loads for my 416 Taylor.
I have a couple now for 4320 and RL15.
Any other loads or powders to suggest? BLC2? H414? RL7? Thanks for all replies.

CanuckAnother semi-popular choice for the 416T is IMR 4895.
If you do an advanced search on the big bores forum for "416 Taylor" you'll probably find quite a bit of info. Lots of guys have one here.

Canuck

Went out today and got some great velocities and shot a couple of groups.

I have not mounted a scope on my rifle, so MOA is probably a dream for me without a better set of eyes!

Another one reaches the mythical 2400fps.

Seems the only guys that don't get 2400fps with their Taylor's are the guys that don't actually have one.

I get 2400 with a 400gr Hornady SP with 73gr of RL 15 too. NO pressure signs either...I've even posted pics of the case head/primers to demonstrate.
