A couple of 45s
I need names for these as I am sure they already exist somewhere. Left to right 458 win mag,450 marlin on standard mag brass,458 Improved on 350 rem mag brass. For now we have been calling them --
middle 450 Canadian, right 458 - 350 rem Improved.

The one in the middle has been around for at least a couple of decades: .458 x 2" American

All you have done is add a tenth of an inch and called it Canadian! At equal COLs there is no performance difference between them.

The 458 American has been around for more than 40 years.

You do know that the 450 Marlin has it's own unique belt for a reason? By duplicating it in a standard belted case you are creating a potentially disastrous situation, one that also exists with the 458x2". They can be chambered and fired in some of the long magnums such as the 8mm Rem Mag for example.

I can't seem to open your url so can't look at the photo so I'm basing my observation on your description.

I bought these rifles already built. The barrels weren't stamped. The 450 was registered as a 450 marlin. It's not a 458 American so we called it a 450 Canadian. That's easier than calling it the one in the middle. Yes we know why the marlin had a wider belt.

Sorry, but if you stick such an obscure wildcat into an 8mm Rem chamber, you getwhat you deserve.
We can't keep stupid people from being stupid.
Other important warnings:
Don't drink gasoline (you know it fits right in that sippy cup)
Don't lick your razor after shaving (don't care how good it smells!)
Don't dry you pet in the microwave (yes, it does seem quick and easy.)
...and so on.

What I want to know is, what's that 458 do out of a normal sized bbl? It looks like it's loaded to 3.1"-ish, no? That's my kind of round. 'Course I would never condone messing with an old 350 Rem, but it would be a neat little pig/brush gun.
I'd call the first one "458 Notlongenough"
The second "45/70 Belted"
and the third "45 PUG (Potentially UnderGunned!)"
