When necking down 284 brass do the necks require turning with a normal(not tight neck) chamber. Also does anyone have any experience with this round in a 98 mauser? Interested in any feeding problems. Thanks, Pete

Mine never did. I use a .25/.284 RCBS trim die, then go right to 6mm/.284 No neck tightness.

Mine is on an FN-Belgian (Browning) M98 Mauser receiver, and I have no feeding problems. BUT, I don't know if the gunsmith who fitted the barrel did anything to the feed rails.
