Charles Askins did one I believe, back in the day. He wrote an article about all his 8mm wildcats for Shooting Times, and the 8mm-284 was one of them. He also did an 8mm-378 Wby, if memory serves. He felt that the 8mm (323) bore diameter was the perfect compromise between large and small bores. I tend to agree. - Dan
