I ended up with a 9.3x62 rifle and it was a nice rifle except it had a flaw in the rifleing??? Sent it to High plains and had it rebored to a 375/62 (kept the chamber and just a rebore...Had Dennis open up the RCBS 9.3x62 dies and reharden... Turned out to be a dandy caliber and I got 2500 Av. with a 300 gr. bullet. The same as I load my .375 H&Hs ( although you can get 2600 plus with a 375 max load according to most manuals) and I got an extra round in the magazine..A friend of mine had to have it, so I sold it, and intended to build another, but never got around to it...It was a better round IMO than the 375/06 IMP. and needed no case forming. Ray, you're just too modest. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone.. | |||
