Looking for chamberings for my Pachmayr Dominator conversion. Right now, I have a 17 1/2" BR barrel on it, but looking for chamberings with 12" barrel length. Thinking seriously about a .260, .308 and .358, just because they are factory, but also looking for something unusual? Looking at some wildcatts off the .284 case, from .338cal-475 cal. Guy show is putting barrels on for me told me he has gone up to a .500" caliber off the .284 case? Said its slightly bigger than the web, but he has done it for years with no problems? Can you really go over the web diameter? I thought it would be a weak point, but he brass expands every time its fired anyway! any ideas e-mail me at dennis.madriaga@gmail.com
