.375" on a .414 SuperMag that's been cut to 1.40"? I'm looking to build one on a Ruger Blackhawk and was interested in knowing if it's been tried before (the goal is to exceed my .375 Atomic and/or equal .375 SM velocities using a 7.5 - 8" barrel (compared to the 1,700 fps out of a 10" Seville; 220 grain Hornady). I've seen .375s on 44 Mag cases, but the .414 at 1.40" would give similar capacity with less bottle-neck effect.

Thanks,

Lee Martin

That's probably one of the few that hasn't been done before.
