I know this is not a wildcat cartridge but case forming is a normal wildcat function. Does anyone have any info on making these out of 300 Win. Mag. cases? I would think you could run the cases in the 7mm Wby sizing die, trim and fire form. Any ideas? Thanks.

good point Zermel. The outside neck turning will make more concentric necks which should enhance accuracy. Those tools were not at hand, and the inside reaming worked well for me. Question, I have read before that the outside neck turning method sometimes leaves a doughnut inside the neck? maybe that is overcome by the use of the expander prior to neck turning? The most important message is the neck has to be thinned to be safe. luck to you.

Good to "see" you again, Johan, but can you explain what is a Swedish gentleman doing buying Swedish-made Norma cases from a US retailer? Ain't this a funny world? kind regards from sunny Madrid. montero

I appreciate the ideas and I hadn't thought of the neck thickness thing with the 300 Win. Mag. cases. I'll have to take care of that. I just hate paying $1 each for Wby. brass. Besides, a big part of the enjoyment I get out of shooting is getting there with case forming and reloading. Thanks for the help.

Doesn't Remington still offer 7MM Weatherby brass? I've used a bunch of it and never had a problem. Joe.

Retard You don't have to pay 1$ each. Get the norma cases in 100 box from Sinclair. I bought some for 70$, great cases / JOHAN
