I am looking for some info about the .226QT! The only thing I have found so far is that it shoots a 125-130 grain bullet in .228 diameter. The twistratio should be down to 1:5,75! That`s all I have found so far! Thanks! DRSS: HQ Scandinavia. Chapters in Sweden & Norway

Look in "Handbook For Shooters & Reloaders" Vol I by P.O. Ackley. 125 grain bullet at 2700 fps out of a 257 Ackley Improved case necked to .226. Twist is 1 in 5.5. There is also a 6.5 QT.

Also mentioned in one of the old Handloader Digest issues, 1:5.5 twist is correct. 125 gr bullets are about 1.5" long, 11 mule deer and one elk as I recall, no recovered bullets, all one shot kills. No conjecture in the article about bullet particulars but it was a flat base spitzer form. I assume the BC was quite high. If yuro'e corseseyd and dsyelixc can you siltl raed oaky?
