VERY nice report...thanks. I can no longer hold out and must build a 375 Taylor. I have worked up loads for a friend's 375 Taylor, and jealousy has the best of me.

We did try some XMP 5744 in it for yucks and were stunned by the accuracy of 225 Hornady SPs right around 2700 fps. Start at 50 grs 5744 and work up to 2700 fps. Recoil is less than an '06, and this bullet expands very well with 80% weight retention. Inexpensive to load, easy on the shoulder and deady on deer sized game, even way out yonder.
