Hi everyone, I recently bought a rifle chambered in .300 ICL. The cartridge is the long one, the full length version that's very similar to the .300 Weatherby. I saw some loading data in PO Ackley's book that uses IMR 4350, but was wondering whether anyone had any actual experience loading the cartridge. If all else fails, I'll use .300 Wby loading data, since the cartridge capacities are so similar. .300 Winchester is L. .300 H&H is C. .300 ICL is R. The .300 ICL case in this picture is fireformed .300 H&H. I've subsequently read that it's easier to run .300 Weatherby brass through the ICL die and then fireform. I've ordered my die set and should have it in 3 or 4 months. analog_peninsula ----------------------- It takes character to withstand the rigors of indolence. | |||
