Anybody try one of these? I'm wondering how fast I could drive a RCBS 95gr. cast bullet with one. Throat it so the base of the bullet is at the bottom of the neck, use Lil' Gun, and it may be suprisingly useful as a small cast bullet cartridge.

If your objective is a small bore cast bullet shooter get/make a .25-20 and be done with it. The 6mm/K-Hornet won't do any better(probably lower velocities) and it will be a hassle to make cases. Li'l Gun may or may not work depending on variables. It has a bit of the same personality of H110 in that it will generate inconsistant velocities w/o sufficient neck tension or sometimes with light for caliber bullets or low load density. You're talking 2 out of three at least...

Cast bullets....JMO, bigger is easier, even if in small increments. Not impossible or even wrong, just easier.

OTH, it's your baby, so if you wanna do it, then do it!

Just go with a .32 H&R mag. Easy to load, easy to chamber. 2000 fps with a 115 lgc.
