Weaver Rifles built me a 300 win mag necked down to a 270 a couple of years ago. I've loaded 140 grain AB with good results and TSX with good results. I would like to know if anyone has loaded any of the new Barnes MRX bullets with this same wildcat??

At the price for MRX's I won't be trying them in anything. TSX does enough for me.

On you wildcat- that has to be very similar to the 7mm Mashburn -- may I ask why you went .277 vice .284?

Arnold Arms built one for a friend of mine who shoots long distance some 15 years ago. I beleive the .277 with a long bullet (like barnes) has better long range flight than the 7mm or 280.
