I thought I would say a few things about a friend who barreled several rifles for me including all of the 7mm A&T Magnums and a ,225 Winchester and a 7mm Remington Mag that we put whatever twist he thought was necessary to really shoot 140gr bullets well. Boy does it ever! He was a fine gentleman, an excellent barrelmaker, and an exceptional human being. He will be missed---I know I do very much.

Gunmaker: Chick is missed indeed! Just ran across a note from him on the rebarrel job he did for me several years ago. I'm keeping the note!

Did Chic pass away??

Very sad news here. He re-barreled a 98 Mauser in 7x57AI for me in '99 and it's still my favorite rifle. I have shot a lot of game with it. He would be proud.
A most gracious gentleman.
