Does anyone have any load info on 6.5-270 or 6.5-06 Ackley Improved using Reloader 25? I have been using Reloader 22 and wanted to try Re 25. I'm running 140 gn bullets.

I've never used RL25 but Loadtech gives the following range with a Nosler 140 56.6-62.9, 3280-3490 at a max of 65,000psi from a 26" barrel and 3.44"AOL.

As usual just my $.02

I've decided on 57.5 gns. I see no pressure signs. Accuracy is great. At 58 I started seeing light ejector marks on the brass. Primers started to flatten out at 59. Haven't ran anything through the chrono yet. Thanks for the info Ramrod.

I got my free because I let them include my Wildcats in their data base. If I was buying I would look at Quickload. Major Issue I have with Loadtech is the program pulls what it feels is the best powders. Usually 30-50 options. But, it won't allow you to force it to use a specific powder. The velocity etc it calculates is very close to what I have seen from Chrono & pressure tests.

Ramrod, I'm using 140gn Matchkings or 140gn A-max. I'm not sure about the length, I use a Stoney Point comparator and have never measured the total OAL. Also it is a 26" barrel.

Thanks
