I know I dont freq. the wildcat forum much however I am curious if anyone has a 270 savage... I would think it would make a wonderfull cartridge in a short action. Thoughts anyone/general ramblings anyone. I am back from a long Hiatus... or whatever. Take care. smallfry | ||

 A rifle in .270 Savage with a deep enough throat to handle the 150 gr bullet without pushing it into the powder room would have been a great all around lower 48 hunting rifle.Instead it got barcketed by the 7-08 and the .260.A savage 99 would have been nice with that cartridge.  rogerOld age is a high price to pay for maturity!!!
