I have started loading and chronographing my loads for the above cartridge. I was using Sierra 215 grain SPBT #2610, with Win 760 powder. With 68 grains of 760 I was getting 2900 f.p.s. With 68.5 grains of powder I was getting 2923 f.p.s. The rifle wears a 24" tube made by Pac-Nor. I saw no signs of excessive pressure. The bullet was .015 off the lands. I was getting 1" groups @ 100 yards. These loads were safe in my rifle but may not be safe in yours. So far I am very pleased with the results.

I use a 338/300 WSM also I call it fat bast..., I've yet to of tried that bullet but have used a bunch of others. Neat lil round.

FYI I know make brass out of 325 WSM and it works a bit better in my chamber than the 300 does.

Have fun out there
