You asked for info on the .358x.404 Here is some loading data. 1. 200gr. rnsp, bell case, (win. mag.primer)[[Same load with WLR primers produced ever so slight hang fires}} , 70gr.accurate 4064, mild 2525fps.3shots inside of a 3/4" bull at 50 yd. 2. 200gr. rnsp, norma case, 36.5gr. WLR primer BLUE DOT 2352fps. great repatability. mild. 3. 225gr. Sierra spitzer BT 36.5gr. WLR primer BLUE DOT 2250fps. mild and deadly repeatability. either 2 or 3 would make a dandy medium range large deer or elk load. 4. The next four were all gas checked bullets, 36.5gr. BLUE DOT with heavy crimps, Norma cases& WLR primers. all were mild . Sadly my batteries went dead on my chronograph and my spares were to weak. You can get some idea from the previous two loads what the velocities might be.The bullets were: a. 297gr. rn b. 260 gr. Bator c. 250gr. rn d. 210gr. rn. All had good ignition, absolutly no high pressure and accuracy not all that good. Maybe 2" at 50 yd. Whem I get a chanc I'll speed check them. roger

Thanks, Roger. I shot some of the 295-ers the other week, but just for fire-forming. Wasn't looking for akrasee. They were chased by 70g IMR 4350, and the speed was somewhere around 2550. Wouldn't do too many in a row, but the three I shot showed virtually no leading, much to my surprise. COL was about 3.53". Definitely more testing to do.
