Do you like this idea?

30deg.shoulder
.465 shoulder dia.
that and a nice 130-135gn pill(if someone would make it!),would be my ideal sheep combo.

The Better Bob is pretty much a 7x57 Imp necked to .257".
Folks love it, and you can find reamers for it.
If you like something different, what you have there would be just as good, I'm sure.

We call this the .257 Imp. .257 roberts is a 7x57 case necked down to .25. The swede case is slightly larger in Diameter, but the .257 a hair longer and the most common imp. format uses a 40 degree shoulder (though there are other variations, too). This is my wife's gun. It would be mine, but I'm afraid it would lead to divorce if I tried to take it.
