My brother is grinding reamers for a 300 Lapua with Radius shoulders.............WHY? Cause nobody else will have one!

I was to late to suggest using a 300-378 reamer short.

And shorten a set of dies to match.

It would be tight, but should work.

The case gets a rebated .532 head.

I have built a few of these.

Normal 30-338 Lapua.

All on Sako actions.

Apparently they all shoot very well according to their owners.

The is also an Improved version that is popular.

A few people have necked the 33XC down to .30. I guess somebody needs to launch 240gr Match Kings at light speed.

Fire formed 3 rounds in a "stub" barrel.

They shrank .025"

New case fire formed with pistol powder and cream of wheat. Not fully blown out. Holds 117.5 of H2O.

The biggest case I have seen for a 30 caliber is the A square Pegasus.

In that rifle at least, barrel erosion was visible after 100 rounds.
