Fell heir to a 7x47mm reamer, will be putting together a rifle on a Interarms mini mauser, with a 24" er shaw #1 barrel. Has anyone worked with this cal or the very similar 7tcu in a rifle before? Thanks, Lynn.

Had a 14" TC in TCU, rifle will give about 150 fps more, look for 2500-2550 with 120's or there abouts. I would use H335 and AA2015, a few other AA powders work well. Go to the single shot forum for loads for TCU and use those, not much difference as 223 and 222 mag case similar. Bullet seat depth may be less liberal vs a TC single shot. Would be a nice round.

on the mini mauser the mag.will be to short to reach the riflling. l would think
about trading for a Remington short action.7x47 is a great little round with good
groups out to 500 meters with 168gr.Sierra M.K.
