Anyone have one using either the .288 or .284 bullet?

Funny but being a 300 H&H fanatic, I've long had a lust to just neck it down to .284 and build a 28" medium heavy bbled No.1 set up around the 180 gr Match Hybrid Target from Berger.
Done up very "British" it would be just so cool !
