Here's my version of the perfect short-action magnum. I'm planning one on a Model 70 Featherweight, with 22" bbl, even though the case deserves 24".

Though it'll be a couple of moons yet before it sees the range, I just wanted to share what I was up to. If it works out like I want it to, I'll see about rechambering a Yugo M48 in 8mm Artemis for an easy all-around beater.
