My 243 ackley firefroming load is 51 grains of h380 and a 55 grain nosler. I then move up to 53 grains of h380 and 55 grain nosler for fireformed cases, good for 4180fps out of my 1 in 12 twist custom remington. I have also had good luck with 49 grains of h414 and 70 grain pills with fireformed cases.

I have two .243 Ackleys and it is a great cartridge...Mine also have a 14 twist and they both like the 70 grain Nosler B.T. with 49 to 49.5 grains of H-414. If you use 55 gr. bullets or the 65 grain bullet, you might want to try Varget...Good luck.....George
