I have tons of data of the WSM as well as the 338 Jamison. I built the first 338 WSM two years ago and posted load development at HA. The Jamison I've built two about 8 years ago. Case capacities of the two are quite close, the Jamison ranging from 79.8 to 82.2g of water and the WSM from 81.5 to 83.5g depending on manufacturers and case lots. I'm presently building another WSM on a Montana Rifles SA. In the WSM I've worked principally with 215g and 225g bullets with a few 185's and in the Jamisons principally with 200g bullets. The latter was built as a sheep gun. Be specific on what you want and I'll be happy to share my experiences and working loads with you.

Bob: I'd be very interested in your .338WSM data for the 215gr bullets. By chance, are these Nosler Partitions? May also use 225gr in mine, but am leaning strongly to the 215 as the all-around bullet.

The Sierra is NOT a partition. Nosler Partitions only come in 210,225 and 250. The 215 is the most accurate load I've gotten so far but I just started working with the 210 Partitions which I've not used much. They also seem to have potential though I've only fired a few while fireforming. The best loads with the 215 Sierra have been with H4350 @ about 2850 fps. In the one I'm shooting now with WW brass, 70g does that. Not one group over MOA with the best ones in the 4's. [ 06-24-2003, 20:36: Message edited by: Bob338 ]

Sorry, Bob. Brainfart when suggesting Nosler Pt was 215 instead of 210 (got two boxes of them waiting on the shelf for elk season).

Be specific about what you want and I'll try to provide my experience with it. "Data" is a pretty broad term. [ 06-28-2003, 20:53: Message edited by: Bob338 ]
