Just acquired a .25/.223 reamer...

Anyone have any experience with that cartridge, any background info regarding it, or loading data for it?

I've been thinking of either putting such a barrel on my spare XP-100 action or chambering up and fitting a barrel in that chambering for my Bushmaster............

TIA

AC

N.B.: My reamer is not the same as the .25 TCU, though not too far off....

Dear AC,
I think I used some TCU data for starters but the best all around accuracy was with 24.0/4198 and the 75 Gr Sierra at 1/2" [100yds] and with 26.0/2015 for about the same. Rifle really works on the small Blacktails here in Oregon.

New issue of "Small Caliber News" (qtrly mag) has an article on the 25-223, with some data, but the author is also looking for more.
What data I have is all "emperically derived", and is safe in my converted Rem 700. I used some 6x45 data as an aid in developing loads.
