Anybody done one of these? Was looking at the 338 M.E. I have, a 350 Rem Mag case and a 338 Win mag case I found at the range. Thought about a 338 Win mag short or a 338 Rem mag.
Took my 338 ME dies and necked down a 350 mag case (same shoulder angle)and it looks pretty good. Should fit in a short action and might be equal to a 338/06 or maybe a bit more.
Just happen to have a short action and a mag bolt and got to thinking (not a good idea sometimes)about what I could do with it.
