Magnum, I'll try to post some pics as soon as I get the painting all finished. The Rimrock stock came with a #5 barrel channel, even though I specifically and repeatedly told Jimmy Borden, Jr. that it was a #4 Shilen. So, I've got a little bit of fill work to do yet. I Acraglassed the shank of the barrel and recoil lug, but need to fill the end of the barrel channel as well.

I'm going to load some more trial rounds this morning, using 4064 and AA2520. I really think 2520 might be a good powder. Also, I wonder what other people are getting out of their .375 H and H handloads, because according to the Speer and Nosler manuals, I'm already past maximum H and H velocities with the first loads of .375 Taylor. And, there is DEFINITELY more room velocitywise. A friend has a .375 H and H barrel for his Encore, so I may have to drag him to the range for a side-by-side velocity check. His also kicks like a mule, so I was mildly surprised when I shot the Taylor.

I'll post more as this progresses.
