How about a 44 wssm?

MileHighShooterHow about a 44 wssm?
Just noticed that Hornady is going to FINALLY sell component flex-tip bullets! They have a 265gr .430" bullet...and with some of the very strong bullets from places like Buffalo Bore and Garrett, not to mention Barnes....maybe a 44 wssm is better option then my 411 wssm? Seems like it should meet 444 Marlin ballistics pretty easy, and there are just SO many bullets available.
Thoughts?

As long as you keep the speeds down there are a lot of .429 bullets available. If however the case capacity goes up like my 429/375, appropriate bullets become like hens teeth.

jeffeossopsitol bullets at hi vel always mean junk results
get an encore in 444 and do the same thing!

MileHighShooterDamn thats true, forgot about the single shots. I'd pay 300$ for a Handi-rifle in 444 before I paid 700$ for an encore though. Personal opinion

MileHighShooterScratch both those ideas! Just saw Ruger is re-introducing the 77/44 in a nice SS/synthetic rifle!

MileHighShooterI just wish I could get a Handi in 444 with the same sights that are on my brothers 500 S&W, the fiber optics they did for the 45/70 and 500 are actually really nice.
