The 9x45 won't have a shoulder, or much of one. Might be better to rebarrel a 7.62x39 527 as a 9x39 or .35x39. Good hunting!

I believe Jeff Cooper did something like this? Sort of a early 9x23, but cut the brass to fit a 1911 magazine. Would have to headspace on the neck?

Acyually have a case of the 9X45. Some rocket scientist around here brought it into my friend's shop. He stuck a 223 round into a 9mm AR-15 and fired it. He couldn't figure out what was wrong. Needless to say I bought the gun.
